David A. Derdzinski, MD

David A. Derdzinski, MD, is a dedicated anesthesiologist with a strong background in clinical anesthesia, emphasizing regional techniques. Dr. Derdzinski earned his Medical Degree from the University of Wisconsin Medical School and a Bachelor of Science in Bacteriology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Dr. Derdzinski completed his anesthesiology and critical care medicine residency at John Hopkins Hospital and gained further experience in regional anesthesia at the Hospital for Special Surgery. He has served as an attending anesthesiologist at New York Community Hospital, Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center, and Beth Israel Medical Center.
A co-founder and former president of the International Health Exchange, Dr. Derdzinski has been actively involved in medical missions to Belize, Ecuador, and Haiti. He has held various leadership positions in medical student organizations and served as a Medical Programs Director at Kaplan Test Prep, helping medical graduates prepare for the USMLE.
In addition to his professional pursuits, Dr. Derdzinski has worked as an English teacher in Poland and presented at the AMSA Conference on starting informational medical relief projects.
