Lina Tan, MSN, RN, is an esteemed operations manager at Queens Surgical Center with an illustrious career in nursing and healthcare administration. Holding a Master’s in Nursing Administration from New York University and a Bachelor’s in Nursing from Jinggangshan Medical College, China, Lina is also a Certified Gastroenterology Registered Nurse.

Lina’s career is characterized by her dedication to excellence in patient care and her adeptness in healthcare management. Notably, she has successfully led teams through Joint Commission and HOD surveys with zero findings, reflecting her commitment to the highest standards of care. Additionally, she has been instrumental in securing funding for operating room improvements and increasing surgical volumes.

In her role as director of operations at Frontier Healthcare’s Ambulatory Surgical Center, Lina demonstrated remarkable leadership in managing large teams and procedure rooms. She played a critical role in passing regulatory surveys and rectifying denied insurance claims.

Lina’s early career in China involved providing direct patient care in emergency situations and overseeing OR operations.
