Jianlin Xie, MD, PhD, is a highly esteemed professional in the field of Gastroenterology and Hepatology. Based in Flushing, New York, Dr. Xie has made an impressive array of contributions to the medical field, serving as an Attending Physician at numerous prestigious hospitals and clinics across the state.

Dr. Xie obtained his Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from Jiangxi Medical College in Nanchang, China, further continuing his studies to earn a Master of Science (MS) in Gastroenterology from Shanghai Second Medical University. Driven to deepen his knowledge and expertise, he pursued a Ph.D. in Molecular Medicine from The Elmezzi Graduate School of Molecular Medicine in Manhasset, NY.

Since 2011, Dr. Xie has held the position of Director at his own clinic, Xie Jianlin Gastroenterology & Hepatology PLLC. Concurrently, he serves as an Attending Physician in the GI Division of several medical institutions, including the North Shore-Long Island Jewish Medical Center, Flushing Hospital Medical Center, New York Hospital of Queens, and Elmhurst Hospital Center, under Mount Sinai Services.

In addition to his impressive clinical work, Dr. Xie is a prolific researcher with numerous publications under his name. His research has greatly contributed to the field of gastroenterology, with a particular focus on inflammatory bowel disease and the role of Helicobacter pylori in the development of gastric adenocarcinoma.

He maintains active membership in several professional societies, including the AGA, AMA, and ACG. He is also a board member of the Association of Chinese American Physicians (ACAP).
