Liwu (Grace) Chen, MD, is a respected cornea specialist and ophthalmologist with a wealth of experience in both the clinical and educational sectors of her field. She is currently working at Liwu Chen MD PC in Elmhurst, NY, and is an Associate Attending Surgeon at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai.

Dr. Chen’s medical journey began at Cornell University, where she graduated with a B.S. in Biology. She then earned her Medical Doctorate from Georgetown University School of Medicine. Following her studies, she completed a preliminary medicine internship at Long Island Jewish Medical Center and an ophthalmology residency at New York University School of Medicine/Manhattan Eye Ear Throat Hospital.
