Ted T. Du, MD

Ophthalmologist

Ted T. Du, MD, is an ophthalmologist with a focus on cornea, external disease, and refractive surgery. He has been the President of Best Ophthalmology, P.C., in Flushing, NY since 2009 and an attending ophthalmologist at Flushing Hospital since 2008.

Dr. Du completed his fellowship in cornea, external disease, and refractive surgery at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York, NY. He also completed his residency and chief residency in ophthalmology at Saint Vincent’s Hospital-Manhattan, followed by an internship in the Department of Medicine at Saint Vincent’s Catholic Medical Center, Queens, NY. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from Cornell University Medical College and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Johns Hopkins University.

Dr. Du has extensive research experience in ophthalmology and has published articles in various journals on topics such as keratoplasty, acellular dermal graft treatment, and conductive keratoplasty. He has also been recognized with awards for his dedication to scientific knowledge, skills, and career awareness of youth in the New York City Public Schools, among others.

In addition to his professional career, Dr. Du has been involved in extracurricular activities, such as serving as the President of the Health Education for Life Program and a library representative at Weill Cornell Medical College.
